San Diego, CA — January 6, 2026 — As the new year begins, Bay Park Data Solutions is reflecting on a year of meaningful impact using GIS to support nonprofits and mission-driven organizations around the world.
In 2025, Bay Park delivered GIS for Good solutions to more than 20 nonprofit organizations, applying Esri technology to real-world challenges across clean water, global health, justice, peacebuilding, food access, literacy, arts, culture, and environmental conservation. Through mobile data collection, mapping, dashboards, and public-facing GIS applications, Bay Park helped organizations improve transparency, accountability, and how they communicate impact.

Highlights from 2025 include transforming 10,000+ handwritten surveys into a structured GIS database to enable historical analysis of clean water impact; tracking and visualizing clean water outcomes reaching thousands of people in underserved communities through six international water-focused nonprofit partners; deploying mobile GIS applications available in the Apple and Google Play stores to support frontline health workers across multiple countries and languages; integrating Salesforce CRM data with ArcGIS dashboards to help nonprofits visualize donor engagement; and creating a public-facing GIS experience featured in New York’s Times Square during the United Nations International Day of Peace in September.
"As we look back on 2025, we’re incredibly proud of what our nonprofit partners accomplished with GIS,” said Martha Rodgers, Founder of Bay Park Data Solutions. “Our focus has always been on making GIS practical, accessible, and impactful. This work is about helping organizations see their data clearly, build trust with their supporters, and make better decisions for the communities they serve."
This year’s work also led to Bay Park Data Solutions being nominated for Esri’s GIS for Good Award, to be presented at the Esri Business Partner Conference in March 2026. The award recognizes organizations that use GIS technology to create positive social impact around the world.
Looking ahead to 2026, Bay Park plans to build on this momentum through the launch of a subscription-based GIS Support Hub for nonprofits, providing ongoing access to GIS support, training, automation, and best-practice templates. This initiative is designed to help nonprofits adopt GIS as a sustainable, long-term operational capability—not just a one-time project.
As Bay Park enters the new year, the focus remains clear: continue partnering with nonprofits to turn data into insight, insight into action, and maps into measurable change.
